As they say these days to cram the sentences into numbers and symbols: 100%. I really enjoyed your latest great novel. Thank for putting your words in the theater of our heads. <3
The whole time I was reading this, I kept thinking that it was so surprising that you don’t enjoy the opera more. I’m sure we’ve discussed this before, but I’m going to require more of an explanation and debate on this topic.
Please go to Rome one day, to the Bourghese Gallery ,and gaze upon Bernini's incredible sculpture of Apollo and Daphne. It is so beautiful it makes my heart weak (similar to your response to the baseball player). I do love a great novel, and luckily have enjoy many written by you, but Apollo and Daphne...............
Oh my gosh, I have been having similar thoughts about novels and live theater. Just spent a week in Ashland, OR seeing 8 plays. One of our favorites was "You are Cordially Invited to the End of the World" by Keiko Green. You may know her from her time in Seattle. As you are angry at the Orioles, I'm in agony watching the Mariners. Long live Theater, Novels and Baseball!
